Three consecutive days are dedicated for the LBC star academy7 casting at the Star Academy Building, LBC, Adma in four days from now. Those interested to join the 2010 season of star academy will have to be present at the dates specified with two personal photographs and a photocopy of an official civil identity. Dates of the casting in Lebanon are going to be on July 24th, July 25th, and July 26th between the hours of 10:00 a.m and 6:00 p.m.

Nader, winner of season five, has been scheduling his concerts at the end of this month. Nader, who also happens to be in his 20′s, is planning to honor the late king of pop Michael Jackson at each of his onstage performances this year. First concert is three days from now in Gabes, Tunisia. Then there is another three concerts next month on the 1st of August in Tabarka, on the 5th of August in Gafsa, and last one is on the 7th of August in Mahdia.

Thursday, July 16th, 2009Yahia Sweis, the Jordanian contestant of Star Academy season6 was interviewed live at the Radio station of Sawt Al Ghad by host Mazen Diab. Yahia talked about his own Starac experience as well as his expectations and disappointments regarding the competition. Below are some of the questions and answers of Yehia during the interview made two days ago.

Q : Did you feel comfortable during the competition, specially that some students had the advantage of lip singing while others took off while the show was still at its start?
A : Well, let me tell you what I felt. I was always concentrating on doing my best. I was there to sing, to win, to make Jordanian people proud. I did my best according to that.
Q : We’ve all heard rumors about the Program authenticity, would you like to say anything about this issue?
A : All I can say is that it was a true experience 100%.
Q : What about the gifts sent by fans, watches, mobiles and flowers. Did you get anything of that?
A : I used to get some letters and souvenirs from fans. We as students were only receiving what has been presented to us.
Q : You’ve won the title of Jordan Singing Festival as well as participating in the MBC Album competition. According to your experience, who do you think was the best participant in Star Academy6?
A : It is definitely Abdul Aziz. Azooz deserved winning the title.

Q : Who do you wish to sing with?
A : I’d like to have the chance of singing with Assi Hillani, Wael Kfouri, and Saber Robai.
Q : Many have been interested in your relation with Basma Boussil. Some even accused the relation and described it as fake.
A : Basma is the closest person to me. We used to share goods and bads. Gradually we started to feel closer. It was a combination of friendship, brotherhood, and real love.
Q : Then you admit that you’re in love with Basma Boussil.
A : Yes, I am in love.

Mrs. Haifa attened the 2009 cannes festival with that black golden patterened dress, while Ms. Megan wore the shorter version of the same dress at the 2009 MTV Video awards. A huge advertisement campaign for StarAcademy concert in Jordan has been one of the interesting noted issues on the streets of Amman. Just like the other singers ads joining the Jordan Summer Festival, Star Academy concert was highlighted by the media there. The concert has been a success with countless fans attending. The Amphitheater was the place to go on July 9th 2009.

And when the Saudi winner of this season, Abdel Azeez Abdul Rahman took over the stage, the audience went wild. It was one of the most interesting nights held by Shabeeb festival so far. Abdul Aziz carried on with many famous Arab songs and proved that he is a star indeed.

Minutes after the concert has started, Abdul Aziz was presented with the Jordanian Shmagh, which he didn’t hesisitate in wrapping around his shoulders. He completed entertaining his audience with the best of songs.

Myriam Atallah, a former Star Academy graduate from the first season back in 2003, has recently released a musical video promoting her new album. Just after six years, where people almost forgot who this lady is, she comes again with a cheezy outfit and a typical videoclip where the character she plays lives happily ever after!

To make my point even stronger, lets just compare her with Ahmed Sherif from Tunis, who was also a first-season graduate! The guy has been everywhere the last six years, and even though he currently has a credited fan appeal, I bet he’ll be losing it if he makes the mistakes this girl is doing. And excuse me for this, but what’s with the extra concentrated blond hair and the shiny red lip color? Is that also a point with or against her career? what do you think?

Joseph Attieh, winner of the 4th season of Star Academy, has proved that he is an-all time winner. In June 2009, Joseph was handed a trophy for his relatively short singing history at the Murex Dor 2009 awards. He then took the stage and sang for the attendants which includedfamous arab singers, actors, and actresses. But what’s with the new look of Joseph? We all noticed that his eyebrows got thinner unlike his career, but in the photo above, Joseph seems to have a lighter hair color tone, doesn’t he? And if he chooses to dye his hair, like many arab male celebrities do, why should he risk with a reddish tone???!! Well, I don’t know an answer to that.
